What should you do on Black Friday?

You should #OptOutside!! REI started the #OptOutside campaign and movement in 2015 which encouraged consumers to ditch the traditional Black Friday shopping sprees and to go enjoy nature. They closed down their stores, gave their employees time off to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday and encouraged people across the nation to switch up their routines.

Last year, California State Parks offered free admission to all Redwood National and State Parks on Black Friday to also encourage people to #OptOutside. This year, select state park locations will be offering free admission! Visit http://adventuresportsjournal.com/free-day-use-at-participating-california-state-parks-on-black-friday/

We also have many free parks, beaches and activities to take advantage of in San Diego! We at e3 encourage you to skip the shopping sprees and take a hike at Mission Trails, Cowles Mountain, Torrey Pines State Beach, go climb in Santee, or go for a surf in La Jolla or the many wonderful beaches we have available to us.

Enjoy your holiday and #OptOutside!!!
